Lee Vs The Subways
Last night at Hampden Park Glasgow, AC/DC ended their Black Ice World Tour, The show was Great the boys the kick-ass, The show open with “Rock n Roll Train” and ended with ‘For Those about Rock” and played all their Great Hits
Angus, Malcolm, Brian, Cliff, Phil You guys ROCK !!!
Me, and My mate Lee ran font of the stage just has the doors were opened at 4 pm. We got a kick-ass view of the stage. This was the show we been talking about for months, we hope and praying that AC/DC would play at Glasgow. Before then radio stations in Scotland wouldn’t play any AC/DC songs until they make at in Glasgow. Fan Powers Rules !!
The Opening act was set to Thin Lizzy ,but they cancelled after drummer Tommey Aldridge broke his collarbone in an accident.
The two opening act were the Answers and The Subways
The Answers were ok the play about 5 songs and got the crowd going and ready !
Thinking that AC/DC were next
But the Subways came on and the half of the coward got really piss off, They look like kids who played “Rockband” too much, thinking. “Hey we could be in band”
Now to be fair I did give them a chance the first songs they played were good but their next just the all sound the same to me. I find myself just looking at the Hot Bass player Charlotte Cooper, Damn she fine !
(Sorry just being a Dude likening what I see, lol)
Then Billy Lunn The Guitar player started to piss of the crowd, First when played he did running on the stage like, Angus Young, that was “Strike 1”
Then he did Angus’s kick walk “Strike 2” Try to win over the sThinking that all Glaswegians hate the English!”
So Lunn trys to wins the crowds over Saying “AC/DC were my favourite band when I was 12’and on and now
The He Started to talk again “I got a confession to make”…
Then lee shouts out “What ? We not Thin Lizzy !”
The font the crowd start to laughs, then Lunn is about to say something, then Lee shouted out “Angus” over and over then one guy joined him then another then half the crowd were shouting out “Augus !” The band looked at each other for a second speech less thinking “What do we do now?”
I was just laughing my ass off
The Band Play they’re play 2 more songs then the only cheer coming when its was announced they were about to play their song . The Failed to win over the Crowd
Has Lunn exits the stage he flew his bottle of water toward us try to hit Lee but he miss. I looked at Lee and I said “He was aiming that at you! ” Lee Laughed and said “I know “
So overall there more to story asked my friend Lee I thought I had to blog about ,lol
